The SiGMA Europe 2023 conference took place from 13 to 17 November 2023 at MMH Malta on Xatt Il-Mollijiet in Marsa. Across five days, it offered a natural meeting point for casino and sportsbook professionals, partnership managers and operators planning their next move.

Who the conference is for

SiGMA Europe works best for teams with a concrete question to answer: which platform to build on, which game studios to add, how to fund and licence a new brand, or how to bring a sportsbook into an existing casino.

Because the event gathers many B2B suppliers in one place, you can compare several platform, licensing and banking options in a single trip. Malta’s role as a licensing centre adds to that; our Malta gambling guide covers the basics.

Tips for operators at SiGMA Europe

  • Schedule meetings in advance. A five-day event is busy, and the best slots fill early.
  • Prepare a requirements list. Note your must-have features, markets and payment methods before you talk to vendors.
  • Ask about integration effort. Find out how much work your team must do for each option.
  • Compare total cost. Set-up fees, revenue share and monthly costs vary widely between platform models.
