Location
Fira Barcelona Montjuïc, Barcelona, Spain

SBC Summit Barcelona 2023 took place on 19–21 September 2023 at Fira Barcelona Montjuïc in Barcelona, Spain. The summit acts as a global meeting point for the betting and gaming industry, where knowledge sharing, networking and deal-making happen side by side.

For operators, it is a chance to compare casino platforms, sportsbook technology, game aggregation, payment services and licensing options in a single visit — the building blocks most brands need before launch.

From Barcelona to Lisbon

Among the editions covered in our guides, 2023 was the Barcelona year. The summit then moved to FIL in Lisbon for SBC Summit Lisbon 2024 and SBC Summit Lisbon 2025, and continued there with SBC Summit Lisbon 2026.

How to prepare for an SBC Summit

  • Define the gap. Decide whether you need a full platform, more game content, a sportsbook, payment coverage or a licence, and focus your meetings there.
  • Ask for a single-integration view. Suppliers that cover games, payments and licensing under one contract can shorten launch time; weigh that against combining several vendors.
  • Request a tailored quote. Bring target markets, expected volumes and timelines so pricing talks are concrete.
  • Agree next steps on the spot. Leave each meeting with an owner and a date for the follow-up.

What the summit covers

  • Knowledge exchange Talks and discussions on where betting and gaming are heading.
  • Networking Three days to meet peers, suppliers and partners.
