Speed Roulette

Speed Roulette is Evolution's fast-track version of single-zero roulette. Rounds take about 27 seconds, against up to 47 seconds for a regular live roulette spin, so players get far more results in the same session while the bets and payouts stay exactly the same.

Stakes run from 0.50 € to 2000 €, with neighbour bets, special bets and a results history for players who track patterns. Players can chat with the croupier and hide other players' messages if they prefer. It suits experienced roulette players who know the layout well and want quick decisions, and it adds pace to any live roulette line-up.

When the place-your-bets sign lights up, the croupier invites bets and chips from 0.50 € to 2000 € appear. Betting closes quickly, and both the system and the croupier announce it.

The croupier spins the ball, and once it stops the result is called out and highlighted on the layout at the bottom of the screen. The history button at the top lists recent wins and losses for players who like to follow trends.

Despite the faster pace, payouts are the standard European ones:

• Straight (one number): 35:1
• Split (two numbers): 17:1
• Street (three numbers): 11:1
• Corner (four numbers): 8:1
• Line (six numbers): 5:1

• Column or dozen (12 numbers): 2:1
• Red or black: 1:1
• Even or odd: 1:1
• Low 1–18 or high 19–36: 1:1

The table sits in an Evolution studio with other croupiers working in the background. Multiple camera angles can be selected from the video settings at the top right, and the stream quality can be raised or lowered. There is no slow-motion replay; results are announced by the croupier and the system.

The game plays on iOS and Android phones and tablets, in portrait or landscape, and on desktop, where the number keys and space bar work as shortcuts.
