Ultimate Texas Hold'em

Ultimate Texas Hold'em is Evolution's live version of the popular house-banked poker game: you and the dealer each make the best five-card hand from two hole cards and five community cards. The twist is the raise, which you can make only once, and the earlier you raise, the more you can win.

Stakes run from 1 € to 1000 €. Every hand starts with an Ante and an automatic Blind, and an optional Trips bet pays on three of a kind or better. The table sits among gold-lit panels with other dealers in the background, and two camera angles keep the cards clear. It suits confident poker players who like to press their advantage early.

Place the Ante; the system places the Blind automatically. You receive two cards face up and the dealer two face down. After a short pause, three community cards are dealt, then the final two.

At each pause you choose to raise or check. You can raise only once in a hand: raising early puts more money on a strong hand, while checking keeps your original bet. Both hands then use the community cards to make the best five-card poker hand.

• Blind: royal flush 500:1, straight flush 50:1, four of a kind 10:1, full house 3:1, flush 1.5:1, straight 1:1, any other hand push
• Trips: royal flush 50:1, straight flush 40:1, four of a kind 30:1, full house 8:1, flush 7:1, straight 4:1, three of a kind 3:1

The dealer welcomes players and wishes them luck as bets go in. One camera shows the dealer and the table, the other is a close-up of the cards as they are dealt; there are no slow-motion replays. Players can chat with the dealer and lower the stream quality from the video icon.

The game plays on desktop, phones and tablets. Desktop adds number key and space bar shortcuts, and mobile works in landscape or portrait.
