Studio profile
F*Bastards entered the market in 2022 from Nicosia, Cyprus, with a simple brief: stop copying what already works and make games with attitude. The team deliberately narrowed its focus to video slots, where it can spend its effort on original concepts, strong characters and unusual stories.
Most of the 30+ titles in the library are slots. As crash games took off across the industry, the studio added that format too, starting with Crash Squad.
Europe is the core market, but distribution deals carry the games to casinos in Africa and Asia as well. Partners named by the studio include SoftSwiss, BetConstruct, REEVO, iGP, Hub88 and Golden Palace. Titles ship in eight languages, and the RNG is certified for four jurisdictions.
The team is a regular on the conference circuit, including SiGMA, ICE London and iGB Live, which it uses to meet operators and show new releases.

Portfolio and game design
The catalogue is compact, 30+ titles, and almost entirely made up of video slots, with Crash Squad as the first step into crash games. There are no classic table games or live dealer products for now, although the studio has not ruled them out.
What gets F*Bastards noticed is the design. Themes are unconventional, the storytelling is bold and each game is built around the player experience. Everything is coded in HTML5, localised into eight languages and supports multiple currencies, which shows where the studio wants to grow.
The studio's own website offers demo play for every slot. Crash Squad is the one exception: it is available for real money only.

Notable F*Bastards games
Warriors, cartels and football hooligans sit next to treasure hunts, demons and lost civilisations in this library. Most slots are medium to high volatility, and RTP settings typically range from 92% to 96%. Four titles show the range.
Bad Babushkas
A gang of armed, short-tempered grandmothers turns the reels into chaos in this tongue-in-cheek slot. The 5x4 grid has 16 paylines, and wilds, multipliers and a bonus round full of surprises drive the action. The top win is 5,000x the stake.
Football Hooligans
The terraces come to life on a 5x4 grid with 50 fixed lines. This high-volatility slot returns 96% and packs Stacked Wilds, Bonus Games, Respins, a Happy Hour feature and a Buy Feature. Maximum payout: 4,600x the bet.
Wonder Machine
A mysterious contraption starts out as a standard 5x3 slot, then adds rows as it spins, switching on more paylines as the grid grows. Special symbols and evolving lines keep each round unpredictable. RTP is 96.8%, volatility is medium and wins can reach 7,880x.
Crash Squad
The studio's first crash game stars a piñata, a cactus and an unhinged bomber bird racing through a world of wrecked vehicles. The payout climbs as the race goes on, and players must cash out before it ends. RTP is 96%, and the maximum win reaches 10,000x the bet.
Technology, security and mobile play
HTML5 is the foundation of every release, so the same build runs on desktop and on Android and iOS devices. The studio designs for mobile first: rather than shrinking desktop games, it tunes layouts, controls and performance for phones from the start.
Crash Squad also shows the studio working with provably fair technology, which lets players check the outcome of each round themselves, a feature crypto casino audiences in particular expect.
On the security side, F*Bastards uses SSL encryption, certified RNG systems, fairness audits, secure payment connections and GDPR-compliant data handling.
Engagement tools
Player engagement is built into the games rather than bolted on:
- Free spins and achievements. Bad Babushkas awards free spins through special symbols and features, and adds a mission system that unlocks achievements for reaching win thresholds or triggering features.
- Leaderboards and tournaments. Football Hooligans and Crash Squad include competitive leaderboards with rewards for the top players.
- Operator tools. The studio also runs Tournaments and F*Drops campaigns that casinos can switch on to lift activity.
Licensing and certification
The studio's website says little about its licences, but F*Bastards states that its games are certified for Latvia and Estonia. In 2024 it announced that licensing and game certification were under way for Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
Industry recognition
In 2024, Bad Babushkas earned the studio a place on the shortlist for the Game Design & Art Direction category of the CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards.
