Valley of the Gods

Valley of the Gods is an Egyptian slot from Yggdrasil, where gods led by Horus and a set of hieroglyphs fill stone reels set against the desert. The grid starts small, in a 1-3-5-3-1 diamond shape with 45 ways, and can open up to 5 reels by 5 rows for 3125 ways.

Opening it is the goal. Some positions start covered by blockers; destroying them unlocks more ways, and clearing them all activates two scarab collections with a 2x win multiplier. Every 5 blue scarabs add +1 to the multiplier, and every 5 red scarabs add an extra life, which gives a respin after a losing spin. There are no wilds or scatters. Stakes run from 0.1 € to 150 € with a 96.2 % RTP and medium volatility. Carol of the Elves uses a similar blocker-and-collection system.

Wins pay for matching symbols on three or more consecutive reels from left to right. Horus is the top symbol at 500 coins for five, and the other gods start at 25 coins for three. The hieroglyphs pay 6 to 40 coins. Coin values run from 0.004 to 4.

• Blockers: some reel positions start covered; destroying blockers unlocks more ways, from 45 up to 3125.
• Scarab collections: destroying the blockers activates both collections and a 2x win multiplier.
• Blue scarabs: every 5 collected add +1 to the multiplier, which applies to further wins in the round.
• Red scarabs: the collections start with +1 extra life, and every 5 red scarabs add another; lives trigger a respin on losing spins.
• No wilds or scatters.
